Will sex dolls stop sex offenders?

A UNICEF report shows that around one in ten of the world's 1.2 billion women have been raped or sexually abused by the age of 20. The number of sexual assaults remains high and there seems to be no solution. So, can real sex dolls be a solution to this common problem?

Sex dolls are becoming more and more realistic and lifelike

About ten years ago, most life-size sex dolls on the market were inflatable. These bouncy castles were cheap though. Silicone sex dolls and even TPE sex dolls are rare and they are much more expensive.

However, in recent years, due to advances in technology, many major brands have developed more realistic and lifelike sex dolls. Modern realistic sex dolls look and feel more like real people in terms of touch and skin elasticity.

On the other hand, sex offenders are mostly people who, for various reasons, such as their inability to attract the opposite sex or the lack of heterosexuality in their neighborhoods, have long been sexually deprived. For example, in Africa and India, rural areas often have a majority of people who cannot afford such expensive realistic sex dolls, making it difficult for realistic sex dolls to play an important role in combating sex crimes.

In addition, some sex offenders have experienced childhood trauma that has led to mental disorders. These psychological problems lead to such inhumane attacks. Consequently, SexDoll does not satisfy their needs either.
